DESCRIPTION
The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the ECM via CAN communication.
If the forward recognition camera cannot store the vehicle information, it will store this DTC.

PROCEDURE
1. | CHECK FOR DTCs |
(a) Using the Techstream, check for SFI system DTCs.

2. | CHECK FOR DTCs (HEALTH CHECK) |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
(e) Check DTCs.
(f) Turn the engine switch off.
OK:
DTCs indicating a vehicle information mismatch with the ECM are not output by any ECU other than the forward recognition camera.
