Lexus RX (RX 350L, RX450h) 2016-2024 Repair Manual: Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Stuck In Range (C00632A,C05201C,C05202A,C052096)

Lexus RX (RX 350L, RX450h) 2016-2024 Repair Manual / Brake / Brake Control / Dynamic Control Systems / Vehicle Stability Control System / Yaw Rate Sensor Signal Stuck In Range (C00632A,C05201C,C05202A,C052096)

DESCRIPTION

for Optitron Meter Type:
  • The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.

These DTCs are stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives an internal malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly).

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

    HINT:

If there is a malfunction in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U012587 are output. When DTCs U012587 are output together with C00632A, C05201C, C05202A and/or C052096, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U012587 first.

DTCs may be stored if either of the following occurs:

    • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) installation abnormality.
    • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) signal malfunction.
for TFT Meter Type:
  • These DTCs are stored when the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives an internal malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via CAN communication.

    HINT:

If there is a malfunction in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and the CAN communication system, DTCs U012587 are output. When DTCs U012587 are output together with C00632A, C05201C, C05202A and/or C052096, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U012587 first.

DTCs may be stored if either of the following occurs:

    • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installation abnormality.
    • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal malfunction.

DTC No.
